Bamford Lion Horse Rake

The Bamford Ironworks was established in the mid C19th in Utoxeter, Staffordshire, England. Horse rakes which are listed in their catalogue until the early C20th, were pulled by a single horse with the seated driver operating the raising and lowering of the tines by lever.
